District 5 Boundaries

The 2020 Census sparked a redistricting process and most elected officials saw big changes in their boundaries. What was previously a district that I could walk across both ways nestled inside the city limits of Rogers, now includes a section of east central Bentonville. I’ve enjoyed learning the new areas in my district as I campaign. New landmarks in district include:

  • Bentonville High School
  • Bentonville Municipal Airport
  • Lake Bentonville
  • Farms with farm animals (the old district had no farm animals other than some hobby chickens and rabbits)
  • Hindu temple
  • Plus many locally owned small businesses that I’m learning more about

Description

North boundary is Highway 102 (in Rogers, it includes some area north of Highway 102). South boundaries are Walnut St., Walton Blvd., and Regional Airport Blvd. (includes area between 24th and Dixieland south to Oak). East boundary is Dixieland Rd. in Rogers. West boundaries are Featherston Rd. and Been Rd. in Bentonville. Only District 5 voters have Carrie on their ballot.
